Mary Jane Neumann, L.Ac. is an Illinois Licensed Acupuncturist, with board certification from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Mary Jane began her training at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she studied the fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbology. She earned her M.S. in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, with honors. Mary Jane has an M.S. in Basic Medical Science from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Zoology from Michigan State University. After graduating from Michigan State University, Mary Jane taught English in Japan, where she was introduced to the health benefits of acupuncture. Mary Jane opened her first private acupuncture practice in Manhattan. She moved with her family to Oak Park, IL in 2006, and has maintained a private practice there for over ten years. Mary Jane’s practice focuses on pain relief, women’s health and facial rejuvenation. She taught in the departments of Oriental Medicine and BioScience at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine from 2010-2014.
